Our online shop is open for business! And the best part....we're open 24/7 no matter where you live! Visit our new online shop at www.birchsthouseandgarden.com/shop for a small sampling of what is available at Birch St. House & Garden. Sections including Home Decor, Bath & Body, Kitchen & Dining, Candles, and Linens.
Spring is just around the corner in New England. Watch for new products in the Garden Decor section too.
Gather your girlfriends, sisters, mothers, or daughters. Get a babysitter, and come out the evening of March 1st for a little shopping, a little gabbing and a little nibbling. Between 6 and 8 we are hosting a trunk show for Aija, a fabulous jewelry line. We will also demo the Montana Emu Ranch skin care products. While you shop and catch up with friends, enjoy refreshments of the vine.
Be sure to make your way through the village that night. Other shops are hosting GNO events on March 1 as well. Stop by Centre Cuts Salon & Spa, Colorwheel Collection, Dandelions, El Chavo, Joanne Rossman, Marla's Obsession, Minerva's Owl, and Sarida.
So far I've heard that if you make a March appointment with Centre Cuts Salon & Spa that evening, you will receive a swag bag of Aveda products! And the services are discounted. Pamper yourself! Marla's Obsession will hold its monthly First Dibs party. This is the perfect time to get a first look at their latest spring fashion. At Sarida there will be bubbles and chocolate. Yum!
As I hear more of what's going on, I'll let you know. But for now, all I can say is don't miss GNO Roslindale!
After you shop, enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in Roslindale Village. Birch St. Bistro has live music every Thursday evening!
The store is filling back up! Check out our kitchenware section. It's brimming with everything you need from bamboo trivets and cutting boards to retro clocks and colorful mixing bowls.
The jewelry section is full of colorful new necklaces from India. We also have the popular matte silver or gold bangles with rhinestones, a variety of earrings and more.
Other new items include:
Thank you for making 2011 a success at Birch St. House & Garden. It's because of our fabulous customers, friends and family that we have had another successful year on the corner of Birch and South Streets. We are blessed to have your support, and we wish you a healthy, happy 2012.
It's true, the store is a bit more spacious than usual (again, thank you for shopping locally) but some new products have surfaced since the holidays. And, of course, more is on the way!
All holiday inventory -- including ornaments, linens, candles, etc. -- are half off through January 8. Now is the time to stock up for next year!
This Friday, October 21, we are celebrating our 10th year in Roslindale with a birthday party. Stop by between 6 and 9PM for birthday cake, refreshments and the opportunity to win door prizes.
We have all the favorites, including serving bowls, platters, individual bakers, and mugs. We also have a couple new pieces. The new white tangine is our favorite!

I'm excited to introduce you to our newest local crafts person Amy Rose and her line of one-of-a-kind jewelry Vintage Fuss.
Stop by to view our newest selection of necklaces, earrings, cuffs, and -- the most enticing rings you've ever seen.
Each piece is completely repurposed from found jewelry, right down to the clasps, cuffs, chains and ring bases.
Many of the designs bring the promise of spring with pastel coloring and flower embellishments.
Prices range between $20 and $130.
