Class Description**
In this beginner embroidery class, your tween/teen will learn the basics of hand embroidery including:

  • how to insert fabric into an embroidery hoop
  • how to thread an embroidery needle
  • how to start/end a stitch
  • how to stitch four basic embroidery stitches (running stitch, back stitch, split stitch, and french knot)

This class will focus on the techniques of beginner embroidery rather than a finished project. Students will create a beautiful hand embroidered sampler with all of the stitches learned in class. The class fee includes an embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, and fabric to take home. Embroidery floss and scissors will be provided for use during the class.

**Did you take Embroidery 101 already? No problem. Join us, and we can get you started on some more advanced techniques, aka Embroidery 201. Plus, since you have the kit already, you'll receive a Sublime Stitching voucher in the amount of $15.
