Give the gift of art this Holiday season. Or if you are one of the organized ones, and you have all of your holiday gifts wrapped up and ready to go, then come add to your art collection. Jamaica Plain resident and artist Anna Koon (A2N2) finds inspiration for her work as she walks the city. Her whimsical pieces are enhanced by Anna's choice of canvas: scraps of furniture grade wood that she purchases from a local furniture maker.

You're invited to come to the shop for the first look at Birch St. House & Garden's holiday collection. This year I've collected a selection of vintage ornaments and decorations to mix in with the new, mimicking the mix of vintage and new woven together throughout the store year-round.
This evening, when you buy three ornaments, receive the fourth one of equal or lesser value FREE.
Also, when you purchase your locally crafted stockings during this event, you can have them personalized for FREE. The stockings will be ready to pick by Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29th.
As you wind through the shop, enjoy complimentary cookies and Tom & Jerrys, a Wisconsin favorite, or wine. For those of you new to BSHG, this is one of my favorite parties. Friends and family gather to mark the start of the holiday season.
So mark your calendars, book a babysitter, and come down to BSHG. We'll help jump start your Holiday Season. Goodies, and drinks available as always, making it that much more pleasurable to shop.
This Halloween as you make your way through the neighborhood with your children, be sure to stop at Birch St. House & Garden. We will have candy and non-candy treats for your little tricksters.
While in the square, walk over to Sophia's Grotto. The courtyard will be filled with jack-o-lanterns. Vote for your favorite.
I’m so excited to welcome a new artist to Birch St. House & Garden for the summer! Please help me welcome Michael Dean, a North End resident with ties to Roslindale by way of his brother, to Roslindale.
You’re invited to come out this Friday, June 6th from 6-9PM for an evening of art and conversation at the opening reception for Michael. While his work will be on display and available for sale through the end of July, Friday is your opportunity to meet the artist and learn what inspires him to paint.
The shop also happens to be a great meeting place before or after dinner al fresco at one of four amazing restaurants in the square — all with outdoor dining. Choose from Sophia’s Grotto (which just won Best in Boston for Al Fresco Dining), Birch St. Bistro, Village Sushi or Redd’s in Rozzie.
